We’re all about making bucket lists and finding the fun. Here’s where to stay, eat, and shop on St. Barths, according to Tuckernuck.
The St. Barths Look
Relaxed, Caribbean, and French-boho-inspired. Think chic beachwear (encouraged at all times), layered jewelry, big hats, on-trend sunglasses, and cool sandals.

Getting To (and Around) the Island
1. Fly into St. Marteen or San Juan, Puerto Rico.
2. Take a 15-minute plane ride to St. Barths. There are two small commuter planes that take travelers back and forth from the island.
3. Rent a car (or moke)!Taxis are limited. It’s the best way to explore every cliff and coast.

Your own hidden paradise, Le Toiny is located on the most private side of the island. Low-key and understated, it’s ideal for a romantic getaway.

The ocean is your backdrop everywhere here, whether in a villa, suite, or restaurant. It feels like a big family home, complete with cool, sleek design and one of the largest infinity pools on island.
Cheval Blanc
Located on Flamands Beach (one of the island’s best), this award-winning luxury hotel is French refinement at its best.
Eden Rock
An island mainstay that’s truly top-notch, from the villas to the service. Surrounded almost entirely by crystal clear water, it’s worth a visit even ig you’re not staying there.
The best vacation cuisine? Just-caught seafood with a side of views.
Lunch
Nikki Beach
An iconic spot to see and be seen. No trip to St. Barths is complete without lunch here— bottle service, dancing, and sushi boats galore.
Shellona
Tucked in a small cove on Shell Beach (yes—covered in shells), Shellona brings a buzzy vibe (band included!). Get the mezze and lobster pasta!
Hotel Le Toiny Beach Club
Rent a daybed at this remote, feet-in-the-sand option. The menu always changes and the hotel will drive you down to the beach!
Eden Rock
Come for a long, leisurely, and lively lunch, even if you’re not staying here. And don’t miss Remy Bar!
Dinner
Le Tamarin
Set in a magical garden under a 200-year-old tamarind tree, this is a local favorite and our top choice. Get the fresh tuna!
Bonito
A cozy atmosphere, in-house mixologist, and Latin-French food with all the ceviche and truffle oil. Book in advance!
La Petite Plage
This hotspot literally feels like a “small beach,” just like its name means— water views, sand floor, boho decor. A late weekend reservation means a party.
L I'sola
The best Italian on island and a great date night spot. The chef is Roman, so naturally you’ll love anything from his fresh fish to homemade ravioli.
La Guerité
Located at the top of Gustavia’s Harbor, La Guerité transports you right to the Mediterranean, with its Greek chef, stunning views, and delicious food.
Black Ginger
Run by a Thai chefs, Black Ginger has a tropical feel and yummy classics, from the catch of the day to spicy green curry.
L’ Atelier de Joel Robuchon
Request a counter seat around the open kitchen to enjoy the French tasting menu and wines. Post-dinner, stroll the harbor and go to Baz Bar for drinks and live music!
Bagatelle
It’s a party, but that’s why you go. Make a late reservation to get the full experience (read: DJs and dancing on tables).
From hand-crafted cocktails to extensive wine lists, find your spot for a pre-dinner drink or a nightcap by the water.
Romi
The definition of good taste—in drinks and decor. It feels like the chicest woman’s home, with retro prints and all the rattan.
Bar Mélangé
At The Rosewood’s Le Guanahani, this beachside bar is great for pre-dinner drinks with plenty of views (it’s perched on top of a private peninsula!).
Le Ti
A rite of passage for the wild late-night scene.There’s a secret back room where waiters will give you costumes, then send you off to dance.
Hotel Christopher
Drinks at sunset here are a must, just for the views alone. The whole property is surrounded by the ocean.
Venture out and explore the island, or treat yourself to a few hours of relaxation.

Besides one at your hotel, beaches with no restaurants or homes on shore are Saline, Gouvrener, and Colombier Beach.

Our favorite spots are in Gustavia and St. Jean! We love Popie’s for Liberty of London fabrics, and Delfina for classic island attire.
